The Irwin Farms Foundation is dedicated to making the world a better place by harnessing the power of micro-philanthropy.
The Concept
Micro-philanthropy refers to one’s giving in small amounts, usually in increments of less than $300. Over time and with broad participation, the funds established and maintained by relatively modest contributions have the potential to make enormous impacts.
The Goal
The Foundation seeks to make “average” persons significant philanthropists by combining the power of micro-donations and low-cost fund administration with high-impact causes.
The Projects
The Foundation welcomes the establishment of and contribution to funds that support work in three large and often overlapping areas: sustainability; creativity; and public service.
